Maytham Al-Kubaisi is pediatric cardiologist has been practicing medicine for 19 years
He has special interest in cardiac imaging including transthoracic, transesophageal and fetal echocardiograms. After earning his medical degree and completing extensive pediatric training in his native country, Iraq, he also completed a pediatric residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. While in Philadelphia, Dr. Al-Kubaisi established a Refugee Wellness Center to focus on the specialized health needs of newly resettled refugees in the area. He then completed a pediatric cardiology fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, while also receiving master’s degree in clinical research.
